Delegate Sales Executive

Reporting to Group Director, Delegate Sales. Due to impressive continuing growth, a great opportunity has arisen for a hard-working, dynamic individual to join a rapidly expanding global media company. Working directly with a multi award winning sales director, the successful candidate will gain exposure to world class training in best practice sales methodology. With a minimum of 6 months’ experience in the conference industry in delegate sales, you will be self-starter with a true desire to succeed.

To be able to represent our industry leading brands, serving the alternative assets industry, you must be comfortable with Selling delegate places over the phone to senior decision makers in the alternative assets sector, primarily into EMEA market. Delivering against daily/weekly/monthly targets relating to call volumes, duration and sales targets.communicating with senior executives.


Assimilating key selling points during event briefing sessions and being able to succinctly and compellingly deliver these verbal and written communication to relevant prospects

Working closely with our internal production function to provide detailed and thorough feedback about prospects, pipelines and progress on each event

Working in conjunction with our marketing function to determine how best to represent and promote our industry leading events into the alternative assets market

You will be responsible for following and executing the sales strategy across multiple events

Maintaining up-to-date information in CRM records is essential to ensure that all daily activity, contact with prospective customers and pipeline updates are fully recorded

Keeping colleagues fully informed of your activities through a formal reporting procedure with your Sales Leader who is also based in London.

Adhering to best practice sales methodology and an openess totraining and development is essential.

Working as part of a global sales function across the NY, London and Hong Kong offices, you will be part of a team that shares best practice, support and sales opportunities.

Portfolio of EMEA events, sales leads are evenly distributed across the team.

Office based role in central London

Attending PEI events may be required.
